The smart Students majoring in industrial design, the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Dean Benstead, managed to make a breakthrough by creating a moving motorcycle using high pressure air force (compressed air).


As reported Visordown, Thursday, November 3, 2011, motor-named '02 Pursuit 'is a figure of future motorcycle, which offers an alternative fuel instead of gasoline.
"Motorcycle concept was originally created from scratch sketches into computer graphics. Then set up the chassis and body, produced with the help of a local factory Rinlatech Engineering," says Benstead.
Motorcycle that has this motocross-based design, comes with slim body, a seat, and a single suspension in the rear. At the wheel, Benstead deliberate use of the model radius, combined with a bandage tire tread width. The result of this tiny motor looks very fierce.
The basic ingredients are taken motocross bike 250 cc. While the driving gear from Yamaha WR240F, which is integrated with the engine air (Engineair) DiPietro. Benstead claiming the bike is capable of racing up to 100 km / hour.
Benstead admitted making Pursuit '02 ', as inspired by his experiences as a child who likes to ride a mountain bike. "It required re-refinement, especially in terms of weight of the chassis. Maybe it would be lighter if using aluminum and titanium," he said.

Suzuki claimed the 2012 gsxr1000 was suppose to be an 'amazing' bike with all the bells and whistles and quite frankly im so disappointed. I held off from buying a new bike just to wait for the 2012 model and i see this...well, im no longer gonna support Suzuki. 2012 i will on a Kawasaki zx10r ABS.
And pleas stop making bikes just about track thats the LEAST of my concerns.. that goes for test magazines as well to much focus on the track ability.. did you know that 90% of us will never see the track with our street legal bike FACT!!! Just sayin suzuki, give us the WOW factor this was only a YAWN!!! guess i`ll go back to the best bike you ever build the Suzuki Gsx-R 1000 K5 mod. that was good times.

“Fare il pilota di moto!”…
Da bimbo avevo questo sogno qua, sognavo di correre e di vincere quelle gare di Motomondiale che guardavo la domenica in televisione con mio babbo.
Quando andai, gasato da matti, a provare per la prima volta una mini-moto sulla pista di Cattolica, a 6 anni, ci rimasi malissimo, perché c’erano dei bambini che andavano come dei missili, e praticamente mi davano un giro og...n......i tre! Mi ricordo che dentro di me pensavo: “Dio bo’ se viaggiano!”. E mi dicevo: “Ma te, vuoi vincere il mondiale delle 500 cc e 2 bambini ti suonano come un tamburo!?! Sarà meglio che prima impari ad andare come loro…” Così era cambiato “leggermente” il mio obbiettivo… in effetti era meglio fare un passo per volta. Ma il sogno era sempre lo stesso.
Così ho iniziato ad andare a girare con la mini-moto a noleggio, praticamente tutte le domeniche, fino a che mio babbo me ne ha comprata una e nel 1996 a nove anni ho iniziato a fare le gare. In quegli anni sono arrivato due volte secondo e due volte ho vinto il Campionato Italiano, battagliando anche con quei due bambini che, il giorno del mio debutto, non vedevo neanche. Ero riuscito ad arrivare dove, qualche tempo prima, mi sembrava impensabile. A quest’obbiettivo ne sono seguiti molti altri, ognuno che mirava un po’ più in alto del precedente; ma la storia è stata più o meno sempre la stessa. Non sono mancate le docce fredde, i momenti difficili in cui sembrava impossibile trovare la via d’uscita. Ma proprio in quei momenti, il sogno che covi dentro di te, ti può dare la forza di uscirne. Il mio, oggi che ho 24 anni e corro in MotoGP, è ancora quello di quel bambino che guardava le gare di moto in TV con il suo babbo.
Ragazzi, con determinazione, spirito di sacrificio e un sogno nel cassetto si può fare molta strada… Provateci! A me è capitato!
